Had some more thrash time at the Quarry on Sunday. Ben was getting some sweet air on his KX and Cody was loking ultra biker riding my Poolaris while his Banshee awaits repairs.

Had an awesome race with Ben, must have done nearly 20 laps of the quarry at full pace. Some very close racing which ended with Ben wiping out on a slippery section. Luckily just a few grazes and no serious damage to Ben or the KX.

I was having a blast on my Raptor, still loving the new found power of my upgrades, picking up a set of Douglas rims and some new Maxxis Razr2's all round on Thursday :) Will be nice to be able to get a bit more of that jucy power to the ground.

Went back to our place for a BBQ and some drinks afterwards, got very messy with Amanda and I drinking WAAAAY too much and going to work with a big hangover on Monday. But all in all a great weekend :)

Went to the Quarry with Amanda on Saturday morning. Had a great little ride. First stop was the quarry for some quick laps. Very impressed with the new engine setup, this was my first proper ride since the upgrades and I couldn't wipe the smile from my face :D

Then headed into the forrest from some relaxed sight seeing riding and headed home all in time for Lunch.

Upgrades :)

Well i got my box of goodies the other day :) I bought a Prodesign Intake and foam filter kit, Bills header pipes, Bills racing exhaust and a Vortex EFI module for the Raptor. Put it all together and WOW !

This beast is insane now! Gob loads of Power right from idle and delivered oh so smooth. Power still tapers off a little early in the RPM but im hoping a cam (if they ever get one to production) will fix that, not too big a deal anyway as power is available so early in the rev range there is plenty of RPM to play with. Oh and the sound is unreal, a little on the loud side but awesome never the less.

Havent posted for a while because i couldnt find my camera but found it (well Amanda did anyway) the other day so I'll try and get some pics from my next ride. I'll also post up some pics of the new exhaust and bits.
