One year of Roostablog !!

Just realised i've been running this Blog for 1 year now, man dosent time fly!!..... I've had fun making the vids and positng up shit. Not sure if anyone is even looking but if you are Thanks! It's good to have a record to look back on over time anyway, looking back its been an awesome year so cheers to all my mates, family and my awesome wife for a great year :) Looking forward to another Awesome summer with lots of trips to Lancelin and lots of track time!

Sprint #2 for the new REX

Had a sprint last Sunday with my new tyres and some suspension setup tweeks. Im now just about on the same pace as the old car. Only got to have 3 runs as my catch can started leaking oil all over the side of the engine turning it into a big smoking mess. All cleaned up now, must remember to empty that more often :)

Anyway i was happy with a 4 second improvement over the first sprint but im still a bit dissapointed. The car should be faster. We have a track day at the Collie Motorplex coming up so im going to dial in some more camber and get some help from the veterans. With the car setup better and some more seat time to get used to things i'll hopefully beet my old cars time by next months sprint.

New Rims

No riding last weekend, no riding this weekend and no riding the weekend after..... arrrrrrrghhhh... im getting withdrawals already!

Anyways i thought id post a pic of my new rims. Picked these up on Saturday along with a nice new set of RE55 R-Comps to put on the old rims...... Got a race coming up on the 22nd so cant wait to see how they go.
